We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands on which we connect and live, the Gubbi Gubbi and Jinibara Peoples, and pay respects to Elders past, present and emerging. This land always was and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land. Sovereignty was never ceded.
WHO WE ARE
The Sunshine Coast is one of the most desirable parts of Australia to live, and visit, and for that reason, many members of the LGBTQIA+ Community choose to live and holiday here.
The Sunshine Coast Pride Network is designed to help the LGBTQIA+ community here network, support and band together in mutual celebration, recognition and strength.
We have a dedicated band of committee members who also plan and run the Annual Sunshine Coast Pride Festival. This is about providing a safe and fun environment for the LGBTQIA+ community, their family and friends, to come together and celebrate our diversity on the Coast.
